The leaders of the United Democratic Front (UDF) predicted victory for their candidate Aryadan Shhouthh in the Nilamburk Byelection and stated that it would be a court proceedings for elections to the assembly of 2026.
The leader of the opposition VD Satheesan said that Nilambur would mean the beginning of Juggernaut UDF for the elections together by 2026 and predicted a solid victory for UDF with at least 15,000 voice margins.
Mr. Satheesen accused CPI (M) and the left democratic front (LDF) of leading the worst kind of campaign in Keral’s political history by trying to bring extreme communal polarization.
He said UDF caused problems such as attacks on wildlife, agricultural problems, suffering of ASHA workers, pension and health care not for political profits. “We will solve these problems when we get to power,” he said.
He replied to CPI criticism (m) that Mr. Shoukath did not visit the former President of the DCC VV Prakasha, and the opposition leader said it was a deliberate attempt to distract people’s attention. “Prakash had his last journey packed in the flag of Tricolor. His widow Smita Avers will stay with the congress until death,” he said.
National Secretary General Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) PK Kunhalikutty said the result of the Basency of Nilambur will be a barometer for UDF in the elections to the assembly of 2026. “Nilambur is a test run for UDF,” he said.
He said that LDF is trying to distract from key problems, such as the problems that people in the hilly area, the development and collapse of the national highway are facing stupid affairs.
KPCC President Sunny Joseph said that the key problems in the Nilamburk apartment were hypocrisy of LDF, policies of anti-aids and efforts to humiliate the Malappuram district.
“The government, which refused to increase the modest wages of ASHa by 10 ₹, increased the salary of PSC chairmen and fees for the main minister’s agency. The inhabitants of Nilambur know, on which the government is on the side,” said Joseph.
All India Forward Bloc State, Secretary General G. Devarajan said that Nilambur would give a suitable response to the government’s negative attitude to job seekers, ASHA, SC/WE and backward communities and desperate farmers in the state.
