The Night Prohibition decision follows the vision of a three -member panel to the border areas affected by the intrusion of armed Bangladeshi Miscreants 8 August. These intruders tried to exclude some shops and succeed the villagers, allegedly for Ransom.
The villagers later caught and beat six miscreants. One of them died of his injuries in the local hospital later. One of the intruders was a recovered identification card indicating that he was a member of the Bangladesh police force.
“There are bases of border safety forces, but several sections of the border remain unguarded due to hilly terrain and lack of fencing used by intruders,” said Mla Marthon J. Sangma, one of the panel members.
