The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted a series of coordinated searches in several districts of Jammu and Kashmir as part of its ongoing probe into the 2025 Red Fort bomb blast case.
The Central Anti-Terrorism Probe conducted raids at nine locations spread across Srinagar, Baramulla, Jammu, Kulgam, Ganderbal and Handwara.
The NIA said the search was linked to a case related to the deadly blast that took place near the Red Fort on November 10, 2025.
During the searches, the NIA said its teams seized several digital devices and electronic records suspected to be linked to the conspiracy.
Officials said the seized materials have been sent for detailed forensic analysis to obtain critical data related to communications networks, operational planning and possible links between the suspects.
They said the latest searches were aimed at gathering new evidence and identifying other people linked to the plot. The agency believes digital traces obtained from seized devices could help reveal hidden links and expand the scope of the investigation.
The Red Fort blast, which left many dead and several injured, is still being actively investigated by the NIA, which has arrested 11 people so far.
The main accused, Umer Un Nabi, was killed in the blast and is believed to have played a central role in orchestrating the attack in coordination with other accused persons.
The NIA is following several clues to uncover the wider conspiracy behind the attack. The latest searches in Jammu and Kashmir are part of an ongoing effort to trace support networks and identify any remaining operatives involved.
The agency further said it is continuing its efforts to uncover the larger conspiracy behind the terror attack and identify other individuals involved in the plot to spread chaos and destabilize the country.
