The National Investigation Agency (NIA) submitted two reports in the sealed packaging of the High Court in the Manipuro of the Progress, which it has made in the investigation of the kidnapping and death of six women and children of the Meitei community in Jiribam in Manipurn last November. The bodies of the victims were found in the Barak River.
The Court of Justice will take the record messages and asked the agency to give an indictment within one month.
The bench of the chief judge K. Somaskecar and the judiciary Ahanthem Bimol Singh said earlier in July that considerable time had passed since the incident, but the charging certificate has not yet been filed. The bench then ordered NIA to present a detailed message of the probe.
At negotiations on July 24, NIA submitted detailed reports of progress on the case in two sealed covers. The Court of Justice stated that the consideration of the “special facts and circumstances” of the case and the filing of the NIA and the State Advocate would remain in the custody of the registrar for “safe ties” until other orders.
However, the Court did not specify the circumstances of the fact that he recorded “concerns” expressed by the representative of the general lawyer representing Nia and the general advocate of the state.
However, the court gave one month for NIA to submit accusations, as required by Bharatiya Nagarik Surraksha Sanhita, 2023. “It is clear that if there is no progress, the matter will be considered seriously,” the court said.
The court noted that the legal representative of the legal representative stated that NIA was “in the process of completing the investigation and submitting fees against the culprits/accused”.
The Court said there would be another hearing of 25 August.
The court has heard a petition in the field of a public interest of the public interest submitted by the Uripok Civil Society Organization Apun Lup, a conglomerate of dozens of local clubs in the Uripok area. They were looking for detailed reports of progress and fast and fair investigation.
