The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday, May 26, 2025) arrested the central reserved police power to share sensitive information with intelligence officers from Pakistan. Crpf rejected him soon after his arrest.
The defendant, Moti RAM JAT, assistant of the subordinate inspector with CRPF, has been actively involved in spy activities and since 2023 shared classified information concerning national security with Pakistani news officers (PIO), Nia said.
NIA found that the accused had received funds from Pios through various pipes.
He plunged and arrested Moti RAM from Delhi. Until June 6, he was transferred to the agency by a special court for the Patiala House courts.
CRPF rejected Mr. Jat on Monday as soon as his connection with Pakistan was confirmed.
“During careful monitoring of social media activities with CRPF staff, in coordination with central agencies, it was found that one individual was in contradiction with established standards and protocols,” CRPF said, adding that the staff was handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
“At the same time, the individual was rejected from the service with effect from 21.05.2025, according to the relevant provisions of India, which was read with the CRPF rules,” CRPF said.
