
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Wednesday (July 16, 2025) issued an announcement of Uttar Pradesh and Dilli to the government of the incidents of two children in Delhi and Greater Noida in public places.
The Delhi incident occurred on July 7 when a four -year -old boy fell into an open outflow in the Mahendra Park area in the northwest district and died.
“The news suggests that in the recent past in various parts of the capital, there were several such cases of people’s death after falling into open runoffs or manholes,” the committee said.
In the second incident, a six -year -old boy drowned in a water body inside the park in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The inhabitants have already reportedly reported on the NOID (GNDA) development office about the waterlogging in the fountain in the park where this incident occurred; In this respect, however, the authorities concerned took no steps.
The Commission, which observed the incidents raised serious issues of human rights violations, issued the announcement to the main secretary, police commissioners and commissioners, municipal corporation in Delhi and called for a detailed report on this matter within two weeks.
Furthermore, in the incident that occurred in Velká Noida, the Commission issued the announcement to the chairman of Gnd and the police commission Gautam Budh Nagar, who called for a detailed report within two weeks.
