A 200-seat technology and product development facility ‘Nexus Innovation Hub’ was inaugurated in Andhra Pradesh’s coastal Nellore district on Friday (July 3, 2026), kicking off the migration of technology companies to tier-II cities.

Touted as the state’s first multi-company innovation park, the center is already home to 120 technology professionals building AI products for global markets.

Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy formally inaugurated the center along with Kovur MLA and TDP Politburo Member Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Waqf Board Chairman Shaik Abdul Aziz and Mayor D. Sujatha. The MP emphasized the need for technology firms to look inland and identify talent available nearby. “Ten years from now, students of tier-II cities should not be forced to leave their motherland for their careers,” he noted.

At the launch event, Renil Komitla, founder and CEO of Terralogic Solutions Inc., recalled his promise made when Blazeup.ai launched in November 2025 to bring at least 100 tech jobs to the city. A native of Nellore, he moved to the US in 1998 and founded Paxterra Solutions in San Jose, California, which later became Terralogic and over the next fifteen years grew into a global company with 1,300 employees in five countries.

“What started as a single Terralogic office in 2022 in Nellore has now grown into a hub of companies spanning enterprise software, cyber security, education technology, healthcare, design and marketing that is almost exclusively staffed by local talent,” he said. The hub is designed to reach its full capacity of 200 in the next six months.

As he hoped more start-ups would join the ecosystem in Nellore, the broader target of 1,000 tech jobs would be achieved within two years.

Companies at the center include: Blazeup.ai, an AI-based business operations platform; FlyView.ai, a unified platform for cybersecurity and AI; Smartail.ai, a platform that automates handwritten student assessments and identifies learning gaps; Vietnam’s “DXP Technologies”, a platform for early detection of cancer in clinical settings; Design studio Lollypop serving corporate clients in fifteen countries; Caramelo Studio, a marketing technology company that combines strategy and content creation.
