Uncertainty hangs over the future of workers at Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s (IOCL) small canning plant in Tadepalli following reports that the facility may be shifted to Chennai, causing hundreds of families to fear for their livelihoods.
The news of the transfer came as a shock to many staff, particularly those who had spent decades working at the unit in external roles.
