Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, mentioned Donald Trump by name several times in emails he exchanged with his companion Ghislaine Maxwell and Trump biographer Michael Wolff over the past 15 years, according to emails released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.
According to the newly released emails, the reports of Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of sex trafficking after Epstein’s death, and author Michael Wolff contain conversations in which Epstein claims Trump spent significant time with a woman described by Democrats as a victim of Epstein’s sex trafficking.
What did the new Epstein-Trump emails reveal?
In one of the reports, Epstein even allegedly wrote that Trump “knew about the girls,” apparently referring to Trump’s past statement that he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago for allegedly reaching out to young women who work there.
In another email dated April 2, 2011, Epstein emailed Maxwell: “I want you to realize that the dog that didn’t bark is trump.. (REDACTED) spent hours with him at my house, never talked about. Police chief, etc. I’m there 75%,” CNN reported.
Ghislaine Maxwell replied to the thread that she was “thinking about…”
Meanwhile, President Trump has to this day repeatedly denied knowledge of Epstein’s activities, which included running a sex-trafficking ring that procured teenage girls for wealthy and powerful associates.
Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein
Donald Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein has come under scrutiny amid a growing debate in Washington about when — or if — the federal government will release its records on the late sex offender, who died in prison in 2019.
The issue flared up again earlier this year when Trump’s own Justice Department reaffirmed that Epstein’s death was a suicide and said it would not release any further details about the case.
Ahead of the latest emails, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee unveiled an image of a birthday letter Trump allegedly wrote after he obtained documents and communications from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate in September 2025.
When Democrats Reveal Trump’s Birthday Note to Epstein
Trump’s alleged “birthday letter” to Epstein was written inside the supposed outline of a woman’s body.
Epstein’s letter said, “Mysteries never get old, have you noticed? and ends with ‘A friend is a wonderful thing. All the best – and every day can be another wonderful secret.”
Democrats have accused the White House of covering up Trump’s alleged involvement and have consistently called on Pam Bondi, Trump’s attorney general, to release documents about the scandal that have become known as the Epstein files.
