Dayla Ward in New Zealand and Kilian Ivelic from Chile packed the first prize in the competitions of professional extreme slaloms in female and men’s categories, Saturday, July 11), which took place in Pulikkayam in Kodencheri in Kozhikode.
In the men category Ryan O’Conner from New Zealand secured the second prize, while Joseph Todd from the US took third place. In the women’s category, Daria Kuziahcheva from Russia and Rata Lowell-Smith ended in New Zealand in second and third place.
The festival will be closed on Sunday (July 27) in Pulloorompar with the final race Down River, through which Rapid Rani and Rapid Raja will be awarded. In the last race they will compete with the first 16 rank holders in the category of men and eight best rank holders in the category of women from Saturday’s Extreme Extreme Slalom competitions.
