In the new PMSSY block on Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science and Technology (SCTIMST), new outpatient departments (SCTIMST) were opened.
Neurosurgery, thoracic and vascular surgery, cardiological specialized clinic and physical medicine, and rehabilitation OPD are now fully functional in the new bloc, providing patients access to advanced diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities for a wide range of conditions.
The new block on nine floors and the built area of more than 2.70 square lakh was opened in February and is operated in phases.
