New multi-specialty hospital for Yadgir approved by Karnataka cabinet

The first cabinet meeting, chaired by Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, approved the project to build a multi-specialty hospital in Yadgir, MLA Channareddy Patil Tunnur said.
Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced a multi-specialty hospital for Yadgir in the budget and earmarked ₹100 crore for the purpose. The Chief Minister approved the project, which was discussed in the cabinet meeting, Mr. Tunnur said.
The multi-specialty hospital will have facilities to carry out necessary medical examinations and offer complete treatment. The new hospital is expected to benefit the people of Yadgir district, the MLA said.
“The MRI scanning facility will be operational soon as the initial work on setting up the machine and technical equipment is nearing completion,” he said.
