New Managing Director of TTD inspects facilities for pilgrims

Newly appointed Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chief Executive Officer M. Ravi Chandra along with Finance Minister P. Keshav on Saturday (February 7) conducted an extensive review of pilgrim facilities at Tirumala.

The visit started at the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex (MTVAC) where Mr. Ravi Chandra shared food with the devotees and sought their feedback on the taste, quality, quantity and standards of serving the Annaprasadam. He also interacted with the staff working at the Annaprasadam wing and the Srivari Sevaks and praised their service.

In the water and food analysis laboratory, he investigated the processes of testing food and water for various quality parameters and communicated with the laboratory staff.

Later, he inspected the queues from Octopus junction to Krishna Teja circle, assessed crowd movement and comfort of pilgrims. At the Integrated Command Center in the Vaikuntam queue complex, he evaluated crowd and traffic management systems, manpower monitoring and real-time analytics and worked virtually with the donor, V. Jaya Prakash of the US.

He also toured the PAC-5 and examined the facilities including lockers, Kalyanakatta facilities, Annaprasadam and smart footwear maintenance centre.
