The new fire and rescue stations are to come in Andimadam and Thirmanur in the neighboring district of Ariyalur. Although it is located in the ARIYALUR REVENUE District district, the new fire stations will be under the jurisdiction of the Pheranball Fire Division.
Fire and rescue services have identified buildings to be rented to stations in Andimadam and Thirmanur. The stations will have a team of about 20 employees with the necessary equipment, the head official said. The new fire station is also supposed to come in VepanthatTatai in the Perembalur district.
With the addition of Andimadam, Thirmanur. And Veppanthatthattai, the number of fire stations in the fire division of the pernbalur, will increase to nine. Currently there are six stations in the pernball, Veppur, Thuraiyur, Ariyalur, Jayamkondam and Sendurai. Thuraiyur is in Tiruchi Revenue District.
The demand for fire -fighting stations in Andimadam and Thirmanur was long ongoing, said the clerk, adding that the new stations would be in a position to quickly cover both cities and its surrounding areas in an emergency.
The clerk said that the new building was under construction that would be placed by the perennial station in the city after the existing structure that became demolished. The two -storey building, which is built at the price of 4,32 GBP, holds four fire offers. New buildings are under construction of existing fire -fighting stations Ariyalur and Sendrai.
