The state police has reportedly registered a second case against Martin Antony, who was convicted of rape in 2017.
Officials said Mr. Antony allegedly revealed the victim’s identity on social media, prompting her to complain to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
The police are yet to make the FIR available in the public domain.
The Ernakulam District Court sentenced Mr. Martin to 20 years rigorous imprisonment for kidnapping and sexually assaulting the actor and recording her ordeal on mobile phones. The other accused in the case are ‘Pulsar’ Suni, Manikantan, Vijeesh, Vice President Salim and Pradeep. The court acquitted actor Dileep of conspiracy charges in the case.
