Members of the Association of Special Special Hospital Association Andhra Pradesh (ASHA) announced that all services within Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva will be terminated from 10 October, while the state government will be communicated to approximately 2,700 GBP.
President Asha K. Vijay Kumar on Wednesday addressed the media in Vijayawada and said that network hospitals in the state provided the public worth more than 5,300 GBP Crore since the establishment of the NDA government in June 2024. Vijay Kumar added that additional fees were transferred from the previous government, bringing approximately 2,700 GBP Crore. Minister of Health, Medical Education and Family Care of Satya Kumar Yadav recently stated in the Assembly that the Crore 670 GBP was recorded in a comprehensive financial management system, the government’s payment portal. However, the association said that this amount must still be released.
Within this system, accounts for services offered in network hospitals are usually cleaned within two months. “But $ 2,000 accounts have been under control for more than 400 days, without clarity when they will be settled,” Dr. Vijay Kumar. It should be remembered that the Association previously announced the interruption of medical services in May. The decision was later perverted after the intervention of the Chief Minister N. Chandrababa Naida. The current decision comes after a small progress in cleaning the waiting fees.
“Once again, we cannot continue to provide medical services within this program because fees are growing. However, treatment will continue to be provided free of charge, but all services within Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva will stop from October 10. ASHA explained that the decision to stop services should emphasize the urgency of this matter, not the unpleasant public.
