Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy on Friday announced that 168 development works worth ₹17 crore would be started in the constituency on May 15 at 8 am.
Addressing the media at his office here, he said that development activities in the constituency had gained momentum after the alliance government with the support of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu came to power.
Mr. Reddy said development works worth nearly ₹ 658 crore have either been completed, underway, tendered or soon to be started in the constituency in the last few years.
“As part of the ongoing development, 168 cannons worth ₹17 crore will be started simultaneously. Foundation stones will be laid by local residents at the same time. Leaders from Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Jana Sena Party and BJP will be present as chief guests,” he said.
Former mayor Nandimandalam Bhanusri, cluster members Jaladanki Sudhakar and Sabir Khan were present.
