Nellore Urban Development Authority (NUDA) Chairman Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy and Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy on Friday (July 17, 2026) announced that the NTR Center near Irukalala Parameswari Temple will be built on the lines of Hyderabad’s Necklace Road.

The leaders inspected the site where a bronze statue of former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao will be installed. On the occasion, they also announced that Ganesh Ghat will be beautified with welcoming arches ahead of the upcoming Vinayaka Chaturthi festival.

Meanwhile, TDP state spokesperson K. Giridhar Reddy said that each village in Nellore Rural constituency will be allocated funds for infrastructure development and basic amenities.

It may be recalled that the constituency was recently in the news for securing development projects worth ₹851 crore during the two years of the coalition government. Mr. Giridhar Reddy attended the inauguration of the village health clinic at Gollakandukur where he appealed to the people to take note of the development spree.
