“After all that happened in the last 48 hours, Arshad’s presence in the NC Classic was completely out of the question. My country and its interests will always be in the first place,” said Chopra, Major in the Indian Army, in a long post on “X”.
“For those who go through their people’s loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Along with the whole nation, I am injured and angry with what happened,” Chopra said.
“I am convinced that our country’s reaction will show our power as a nation and justice will be delivered,” he added.
Above the refusing to come up with quoting other obligations.
The 27 -year -old Chopra said he was well aware of the vibration surrounding his invitation to the overhead after the Pahalgam attack, in which 26 people were shot by terrorists, mostly tourists.
“… Most of it was hatred and abuse. They didn’t leave my family either,” Chopra said.
“I usually am a man of a few words, but that doesn’t mean I won’t speak against what I think it’s bad. More about questioning my love for our country and the respect and honor of my family,” he wrote.
Chopra said that the invitations to the NC Classic were sent on Monday, the day before the terrorist attack Pahalgam.
“The invitation, which I expanded to Arshad, was more from one athlete to another, nothing less. The aim of the NC Classic was to bring the best athletes to India to India and be home to world-class sports events for our country.
“All athletes left on Monday, two days (sic) before terrorist attacks on Pahalgam,” he added.
Mother’s Neer Chopry’s Mother
Chopra also emphasized the goal of her mother Saroj for her statement after the Paris Games last year, in which she described above her son.
“It is also difficult for me to understand how people change opinions. When my mother – in her simplicity – made an innocent comment a year ago, there was praise for her opinions.
“Today the same people have not touched them to feel the same statement on it.” “Meanwhile, I will work even harder to ensure that the world remembers India and looks at it envy and respect for all the right reasons,” Chopra said. Chopra, one of the most decorated athletes in India, said he represented the country with pride for several years.
“… so it hurts to see my integrity asking. It hurts to explain to people who focus on me and my family, for no good reason,” he wrote.
“We are simple people, please do not do us to be nothing else. There are so many false stories that some parts of the media have created around me, but just because I don’t speak, it doesn’t mean,” Chopra said.
