After securing his first victory of the season with a fantastic performance in the Paris Diamond League, Neera Chopra now moves his focus on Ostrava Golden Spike 2025 – the world athletic continental tour (gold level) – scheduled for Tuesday, June 24th. Chopra Classic 5th July.
This will be Neera’s first performance at the Golden Spike event, which has missed in recent years due to injury. This time, however, a 27 -year -old man arrives with momentum on his side and enjoys strong form under the leadership of Jan Rerenny. It will be his fifth trip of the season, after impressive performances in Diamond League will meet in Doha and Paris.

“I am really glad that I can cooperate with such a great athlete and coach. This year I threw 90 million for a little more improvement in the technique. So we will see when it will come next time, but I’m ready,” Neeraj said.
“We have recently done a good training in Nymburk, so I will do my best in Ostrava.”

Neeraj was a guest last year at the event and now has a chance to impress all his abilities.
“When I was a boy, I watched a lot of videos and photos of athletes like Usain Bolt, compete here (Golden Spike in Ostrava). I came last year, but I didn’t compete for injury. I feel good now, but I don’t want to put any pressure on myself.
The field does not have to be the main challenge for the Indian ace, but still contains stellar names like Anderson Peters and Thomas Rhler. Especially Julian Weber – who has developed strong rivalry with Neera this season – will be missing from this season.
With all his eyes, Neeraj will try to secure the best place on stage before going home to the NC Classic opening, where next month will host some of the biggest names of sport in Bengalur.
