
The double Olympic medalist Neera Chopra said on Friday, June 11 that he was trying to improve his new technique under the alert eyes of the coach, the legendary Jan Zeleny. Neera, who spoke to the Under Armor event in Gurgaon, said that Zelezna noticed a great mistake in his technique that lost a lot of his raw strength.
Neera, who recently crossed the 90 -meter barrier, said he tend to fall towards the left, while throwing a spear, which is wasting a lot of power he builds during his start. Neeraj said that if he was able to improve his new technique and stay consistent, he could move further in the future. Neeraj said his final goal was to support his best distance (90.23 m) by 1 or 2 meters.
“My coach is very good, he was very good, the legendary athlete. He is also very helpful as a man. He works a lot on my technique,” Neera said in a media round table in Gurgaon’s Ambience.
“When throwing a spear, I tend to fall too much to the left side. So far I am a lot of strength and strength.

Neej explained that although he was doing well in the training, he could not repeat it in competition.
“I am doing well in the training, but in competitions I am not able to get the technique correctly. I tend to mix old and new techniques,” he explained.

Neeraj said that while he was successful in the new coaching team, he was unable to live up to the brand in all competitions.
“In some competitions, such as the Paris Diamond League and Diamond League in Doha, it was good, but in Bengalur it was not because it was also a bit of a head.
The double Olympic medalist said he had to work on his consistency to hit 90 brands more often.
“This year I have reached 90 meters. But I have to be more consistent to achieve it more often. I am around 88-89 meters continuously and my coach said he was happy, but I have to be more consistent,” Chopra told Under Armor at Ambience.
Chopra also touched his goals in the near future. The star athlete said his other big goal is to complete the top of the stage at the World Athletics Championship, which will take place in Tokyo from 13 to 21 September this year.
“My other goal is the World Championship and I want to win there. Before the World Championship, I plan with my coach and see which event I can compete for to prepare for it,” Chopra concluded.
