Early Thursday morning, the fire broke out at the Caribou Village shopping center in Nederland in Colorado and forced the inhabitants of the loved ones to evacuate when firefighters fought fire.
According to the Sheriff Boulder County office, the representative first saw the flames around 4:30 in one of the buildings of the shopping center, located along the top of the highway in the heart of the city. No injuries or victims were reported.
As a precautionary measure, orders for evacuation for a neighborhood surrounding the shopping center were quickly issued. The affected areas stretched between the summit to the summit and Peakview, culminating to the summit and bridge to the west on the highway 119 and the hurricane hill and south of the highway 119 between the bridge and the hurricane.
The authorities also closed Big Springs and CO 119, known locally as Bridge Street to allow crews to safely hold fire.
The cause of the fire remains investigated and is expected that the evacuation orders will remain in place until the conditions improve.
