Action is being taken commensurate with the irregularities committed by them,” Dubey said.

He said that ₹3-4 crore has been recovered from officials and employees who committed irregularities. The ACS remarks came on the back of a newspaper report on the issue the previous day.

“Action has also been taken against more than 80 contractors and suppliers who allegedly provided materials or services in an incorrect manner or at incorrect rates. The process is ongoing,” he added.
