Ministers, MLAs, public representatives and district officials attended the celebration of two years of the coalition government in Ongola on Thursday.

Social Welfare Minister Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, Power Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar, Minister-in-Charge Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Magunta MP Srinivasulu Reddy were among those present.

On this occasion Dr. Veeranjaneya Swamy said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is running the state with a focus on both development and welfare. “When the alliance government assumed power, the state was saddled with a debt of ₹10 crore. At the same time, we are repaying these debts and providing welfare to the people,” he said.

Mr. Ravi Kumar said the government’s two-year tenure has been marked by a blend of confidence, development and welfare-oriented governance. The government has fulfilled its key commitments to the people and focused on balanced development across the state. “The government has kept its promise by creating Markapuram district,” he added.

Highlighting the alleged anomalies during the district reorganization of the previous government, he noted that Addanki Assembly constituency, which was earlier merged with Bapatla district, and Kandukur constituency, which was earlier included in Nellore district, were reverted back to Prakasam district in response to public demand.

The Power Minister expressed confidence that Andhra Pradesh would emerge as a model state under the leadership of Mr. Chandrababu Naidu. Along with the ministers, MLA Damacharla Janardhan, BN Vijay Kumar, Mukku Ugra Narasimha Reddy, Inturi Nageswara Rao and coalition leaders also attended the programme.
