Narcotic control of the Bureau (NCB) confiscated 30.4 kg of tablet methamphetamine worth 24.32 CRORES and arrested three accused during two separate operations in Assam Silchar 6, April, said on Thursday (April 10, 2025). The forbidden substance is known as “Yaba” tablets.

Drugs hidden in cars

Later that night, in another NCB news, Assam Police and Central Reserve (CRPF), Mahindra Thar was detained. “Authorities have received 20.5 kg of methamphetamine tablets wrapped in 21 packets hidden inside the vehicle’s spare tire. Both passengers of vehicles, which also belong to Churachandpur, were taken into custody,” NCB said.
The NCB previously seized around 110 kg of methamphetamine tablets in two operations on March 13. During a seizure of 7.5 kg in Silchar in Assam, one person was arrested, resident MOREH, manipur. When seized 102.5 kg in Lilong, near Imphal, manipur was arrested three charged.
