The Bengaluru zonal unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday conducted a large-scale drug disposal drive and destroyed seized narcotics worth an estimated ₹ 38 crore as part of its ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking.
A total of 128.75 kg of narcotics linked to 13 cases were burned in the certified facility. The substances destroyed included marijuana, hydroponic marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, and MDMA. Officials said the process was carried out in an environment-friendly manner and followed the prescribed safety and pollution control norms.
