
Los Angeles Clippers won his first round of playoffs NBA, 117-83 above Denver Nuggets in the game 3 on Thursday, April 24 at Intuit Dome. James Harden performed with exceptional performance, while the defense of Clippers closed Denver to get 2-1 leadership in the Best of Seven series.
James Harden scored all 20 of his points in the first half and added nine assists and six rebounds in a commanding performance. He helped Clippers to end the first quarter of 10-0 running, giving them a dynamics they never gave up.
“I am aggressive not only scoring; it makes it easier and I do other things,” Harden said. “We knew the shots would begin to fall, and that’s exactly what happened.”
Clippers deliver at both ends
Six clippers scored in double characters, with Kawhi Leonard published 21 points and 11 rebounds and Norman Powell added 20 of the bench. Ivica Zubac stinged in 19 points and nine boards. Nicolas Batum had a strong impact from a bench with 12 points and three blocks and knocked three or three indicators.
“We have to build it. It’s just one victory,” said Tyronn Lue coach. “We liked our defense approach tonight, but this series was far from over.”
Defense shines in the historical debut Play -off Intuit Dome
Clippers showed his trademark defense and held Nuggets at 40.3% shooting and only 26.9% from the arch. Denver’s bench was held only for six points, compared to 31 from the CLIPPERS reserves.
