The biggest challenge for Navi Mumbai Airport could be its location. For example, a densely populated western suburb in Mumbai is far from the airport.
From Borivali, the terminal 1 Mumbai is about 18 km away, about 49 minutes in the evening. By comparison, the Navi Mumbai airport is approximately 54 kilometers away and lasts almost 142 minutes.
From Bandra (West), the terminal 1 CSMIA is 1 6.5 km away and 37 minutes on the rush, while the Navi Mumbai airport is 43 km away and takes about 94 minutes.
