Natyadharmi Parakkadavu, a cultural organization has announced its awards for artists in various categories.
Kathakali maestro Sadanam Krishnankutty was selected for the Padmashree Moozhikulam Kochukuttan Chakyar Award, while Kathakali singer Kottakkal Madhu won the Sandeep Kalathimekkad Memorial Award. Young Carnatic singer Moozhikulam Harikrishnan has been selected for the Mattampillill Parameswara Menon Memorial Award.
The prizes, each worth ₹10,000, a memento and a certificate, will be presented by Kalamandalam Vice-Chancellor B. Ananthakrishnan on April 9 at the Ramapuram Chettarikkal temple near Parakkadav, organizers said.
