The owner reportedly objected to the barbecue and told them she could not allow them to cook on the property. In the video, she pointed to brown stains on the wall and talked about possible damage to the area. The tenant claimed that it was traces of rust.
The tenant, who claimed to be in his 50s, responded by saying he had a right to have a friend with him while he paid the rent. His friend was recorded on the video. As the argument grew, Tiwana further protested the presence of the tenant’s friend. She further accused the tenant of trying to burn down her property. However, she added that they could have gone to the tenant’s friend’s house for dinner instead.
In another video, Tiwana was seen pushing food off the grill with a piece of wood, which the tenant objected to. He accused her of trying to intimidate him and his friend. She further threatened to call the police and said she could not allow them to cook on her property.
Another charge
After the viral videos, the tenant filed several claims against Tiwana. He said that she interfered with his use of the rented property several times. In the video, she was seen seemingly entering the tenant’s house and throwing rocks in his direction. The tenant was heard asking her to leave his place.
In another video, Tiwana was seen throwing an object that looked like a container at the tenant’s boyfriend while questioning his presence.
The tenant also accused her of entering the house and changing the locks in his absence. He said his rent was paid by August 15. He said his house was broken into three times and even the door was later removed.
Tiwana has not yet publicly responded to these claims.
