National Ayurveda Conference 11 September

Department of Samhita and Siddhanta, JSS Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital will host a one-day national conference titled “SAMHITA AVABODHINI – National Conference on Inspiring Excellence in Samhita and Siddhanta” at Sri Rajendra Centenary Auditorium, JSS Hospital, MG Road, Mysuru at 1 on Friday.

Organized under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, the National Conference commemorates the 111th Jayanthi Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswami celebration. This initiative brings together academics, researchers, clinicians and medical students from across India to promote conceptual clarity, strengthen foundational knowledge and connect classical Ayurvedic wisdom with modern health practices.

The scientific schedule includes sessions and keynote lectures by leading scientists. The discussion will focus on the clinical significance of Padartha concepts, translating the basic principles of Shastra into therapeutic practice, analyzing the scientific approach of Vimana Sthana, and the use of Santarpana and Apatarpana Chikitsa to address contemporary lifestyle disorders. In addition to scholarly presentations, the conference features an online poster competition for undergraduate researchers, along with offline research paper presentations for graduate students, doctoral students and faculty members, a press release said.
