The award recognized the efforts of the district administration in the field of agricultural development, farmers’ welfare and program implementation.
Ms. Priyanka lauded the officials for their work towards achieving the objectives of the program and called for better inter-departmental coordination in implementing agricultural development programs in a planned manner.
She congratulated the officials and their teams on their success and appreciated their joint efforts, commitment and responsible performance.
The Collector said the award places more responsibility on the district administration and expressed hope that it would motivate officials to improve the implementation of government development and social programmes.
Launched on October 11, 2025, PMDDKY covers 100 districts across the country characterized by low agricultural productivity, low cultivation intensity and low disbursement of agricultural loans. The program integrates 36 central government programs implemented by 11 ministries along with state programs and private sector participation. In Telangana, the scheme is being implemented in Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal, Jangaon and Nagarkurnool districts.
