Andhra Pradesh IT Minister of Nara Loket attracted a flake from farmers’ organizations in its state for expanding an open invitation to the Air industry to Andhra Pradesh with an offer of 8,000 acres ready for use.
Mr. Loksh, the son of Chief Minister Andr Pradesh N. Chandrababa Naida, published an open invitation to the aerospace industry on the social media on Tuesday in an effort to use the Karnataka government for 1,777 hectares of agricultural land in Ninhalli Taluk.
Agricultural organizations in Andhra Pradesh described their promise to provide 8,000 acres just outside Bengalur as “inappropriate” and the struggle of Karnatak’s Devanahalli’s farmers who demanded the shelves of land acquisition for “historical”.
“Highly inappropriate”
In his statement, Vadde Sobhanadreesware Rao, the Coordination Committee for Andhra Pradesh Farmers ‘Associations’ and Samyukta Kisan Morcha Andr Pradesh, said: “Andhra Pradesh agricultural organization strongly reflects this very inappropriate statement.
Mr. Rao, who previously served as a Minister of Agriculture in the Chandrababa government, defended the demand of farmers Devanahali to start land acquisition. “The proposed land acquisition was strongly opposed to local farmers in the historical struggle. The main Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah, who respected the requirements of the farmers, announced the withdrawal.”
Tejasvi Surya draws a flake
Meanwhile, Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya attracted the anger of agricultural leaders from Karnatak for the approval of Mr. Loksha’s statement by publishing on the social media that “this is attracted to business, welcomed the industry and creates jobs. Mr. Surya later deleted his contribution.
Karnataka Rajya Raith Sangha President Badagalapura Nagendra, who was screened against it, explained that farmers were not against industrialization, but were against the acquisition of fertile land for industrial projects.
He listened to Mr. Sury’s logic and said: “The agricultural sector continues to be the largest employment generator in the country because it occupies almost 60% of the country’s population. There is also the need to protect the agricultural sector.”
Mr. Nagendra mentioned the impact of the loss of green spaces around Bengalur and said that there was no more water that would take care of the growing needs of the city.
The idea of developing
President KRRS (collective leadership) Chukki Nanjundaswamy also issued an exception to Mr. Surya’s statement and claimed that agriculture and development are not contrary. “Development does not mean that only industrial development. Development of the agricultural sector is also development,” she said, opposing that adherence to farmers’ demand to abandon their fertile and productive agricultural land for industrial project would not make sense.
