Nanotechnology conference Bengaluru INDIA NANO 2026 in August; SVU announces an event

Bengaluru INDIA NANO 2026, the flagship nanotechnology conference and exhibition, will be organized by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka, on the theme “The Next Frontier of Nanotechnology: AI and Beyond, Compute, Converge, Market”, at Lalit Hotel, Bengaluru from 3-26 August 2026.

Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) and Center for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS), Bengaluru jointly announced the event in Tirupati on Thursday (July 9, 2026) evening. The primary objective is to create awareness among undergraduate students affiliated with SVU about the importance, applications and future prospects of nanoscience and nanotechnology.

SVU Vice-Chancellor Tata Narasinga Rao asked the students to cultivate scientific mindset, inquisitive nature and interest in research. Professor GU Kulkarni of the Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advanced Scientific Research in Bengaluru highlighted the opportunities offered by nanoscience and nanotechnology in various sectors.

SVU Professor and Dean of Research and Development G. Narasimha explained the primary objective of the event. He said the program offered students the opportunity to understand scientific concepts through lectures, demonstrations and interactive discussions. The event included expert lectures, video presentations, interactive discussions and live demonstrations.
