Nandyal District Collector Rajakumari Ganiya has ordered disciplinary action against doctors and staff who were not on duty at the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Timmapuram village, Mahanandi mandal.
Ms. Ganiya made an unexpected visit to the PHC on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 10:10 a.m. and found that two doctors, a lab technician and a pharmacist had not turned up on time. On checking the attendance sheet, she found that the Multipurpose Health Officer (MPHO) had signed for three of the absentees.
