Forum “MAN Nadu-Namma Alvike (Nnna)” called on the state government to carry out a policy of two languages in the state education system.
On Friday at a press conference Kannada Lyrik Kaviraj said: “The aim of our campaign is to ensure that students are not burdened with the third language that is of little importance for their immediate academic and social environment.”
He stressed that it is difficult for children who have already been deployed. “Children can hardly get five hours to study after returning home and barely get 30 minutes with three languages,” he added.
Over the past seven months, NNNA has led a number of campaigns to raise awareness, including a large skin assembly in Bengalur 1.
The campaign draws inspiration from Tamil Nadu, which has long opposed the politics of three languages, but still managed to maintain a high level of students. Kaviraj also pointed out that the total percentage of students are significantly downloaded if they work badly in languages, even if they excel in the main subjects. “More than 1,25,000 students, a language that many are not familiar with, failed,” he said.
