Main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida revealed on Friday an ambitious vision to build Andhr Pradesh as a global leader in tourism.
The solution of the assembly of executives, the creators of politicians and the parties to the “Conclave Tech Tech AI AI 2.0” in Vijayawada described tourism as the engine of future growth and emphasized its central role in managing economic transformation, generating employment and cultural promotion. The Conclave was signed up to 82 mous worth 10,329 crore.
Mr. Naida, who spoke of the need to promote yoga and natural wellness, said that Andhra Pradesh will be the goal of the wellness and happiness of the future. He invited Guru Yoga Baba Ramdev, who was present on this occasion to promote wellness tourism in the state and take over the advisory role.
Tourism, the only “-ism”
Mr. Naida emphasized the transformative power of the tourism sector and repeated his often repeated line: “All other ISMS” may fade, but tourism is the only “-ism” that survives.
“Worldwide is one of every 10 tourism jobs,” he pointed out, emphasizing the potential of the sector to create eight jobs for each invested 1 lakh, which is more than that, production or agriculture. He shared plans to increase the share of employment in the industry from 12% to 15% and his contribution to GSDP from 74,000 crore to 2 40,000 crore by 2029.

When he talked about the politics of the inclusive home, Mr. Naida said that the goal was to create 10,000 plus-pluses in tribal, rural, coastal and hereditary regions. “From today’s 19,500 rooms, we are trying to expand up to 50,000 rooms by 2029 today,” he said.
In the past, his idea was to promote one IT professional in every family, and now they are eager to achieve the goal of a “one family, one entrepreneur”. The proposed roller -innovation Ratan Tata in Amravati would help the government achieve its goal, he said.
“Andhra Pradesh has the best temples and 21 of them generate wealth,” said Mr. Naida, quoting state gifts, including ancient cities, coasts of 1,000 km, forest reserves and river systems such as Godavari and Krishna. “The government is developing seven anchor nodes in Visakhapatnam, Araku, Rajahmundry, Amaravati, Srisailam, Gandicota and Tirupati, and more than 25 thematic districts, including 10 temple districts, five coastal, four river routes, two cruises, two Buddhist sites and three.”
Mutually advantageous opportunity
The main minister said the state proposed tourism policy friendly to investors 2024-29, which proved to be a game changer and broke the myth that only the rich can invest in a tourism sector. “Tourism has now been awarded industrial status across segments, with incentives such as 100% liberation from the market, reimbursement of electricity for five years, SGST payment for up to 15 years and rapidly monitored permission under” business speed “initiative.
Mr. Ramdev praised Mr. Naida’s leadership and his transformation administration. He called for the development of Horsley Hills as an international wellness goal, integration of yoga, Ayurveda and naturopathy. He also announced plans for the establishment of the Wellness Center Patanjal across Andhra Pradesh and proposed promotion of picturesque places as premium wedding points and celebrate Indian traditions.
Mr. Naida replied with a promise of full support, including Madanapalle airport to strengthen the wellness tourism.
Previously, the main minister described an initiative for tourism in a caravan and offered a modern, mobile travel solution for families and groups. He also released the digital calendar of the state tourism along with a new brochure, strategic paper and a yearly schedule of tourist event.
