Nagenthran criticizes the TVK-led government for its lack of monsoon preparedness

BJP state president Nainar Nagenthran on Sunday slammed the TVK-led government for its alleged inefficiency in monsoon preparedness.

The stagnation of rainwater in many parts of Chennai was due to an alleged lack of precautionary measures even though there was a weather advisory in this regard, he said. The impact of heavy rain witnessed at the International Air Station, GST Road, Ganesapuram Metro and many major roads and areas in Tambaram only indicated the alleged inaction of the government apparatus, Mr. Nagenthran said.

Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay must realize that the administration was about standing with the people and addressing their grievances, the BJP leader added.
