
Up to 4 601 people have been trained in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) in the district so far under the project of the state government “Hridayapoorvam”, a campaign aimed at saving lives and reducing heart mortality. The training was carried out with the support of members of the district joyful action forces, trained healthcare professionals, the Association of Government Medical Officers Keral (KGMOA), the Indian Medical Association (IMA), medical faculties and private hospitals.
