The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) here on Monday identified its 44th day of the foundation and reaffirmed its obligation to sustainable and inclusive rural development. During the event, a short document called “Roots of Change” and a publication such as “Nidhi” was published. This also represented exhibitions of FPOS and craftsmen and recognized exemplary PAC and DCCBS.
At his welcome address, the CEO of NABARD (GM) KVS Praad emphasized the obligation of the institution to partnership of the development mandate and stakeholders. NABARD AP GM Mr. GOPAL presented the successes of the Regional Authority during the financial year 2024–25.
He stressed that NABARD AP paid a total of 42,842 GBP Crore in loans and CRORE 31.83 GBP in grants, supported critical infrastructure and institutional development. With the inauguration of the New District Development Manager (DDM) office in Eastern Godavari, West Godavari and Nandyal, Nabard’s local reach has expanded in the state. He emphasized the credit flow of 29,827 GBP Crore in refinancing at rural financial institutions.
The Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of the Cooperative Companies Babu A. appreciated the contribution to the modernization and digitization of the cooperative credit structure in Andra Pradesh. He acknowledged Nabard’s continuous support in building institutional capacities and emphasized the need for further convergence to achieve financial integration and strengthen cooperation in all 26 districts.
