The alleged video, which makes bicycles on social media, shows a “Karni hay” worker – a term freely used to describe multiple Rajput’s outfits – showing his identification card associated with the social organization and exempt from paying tax. Location of the video – which the Mint could not verify separately, remains unknown. The headline now is the viral video: “Goon of Karni hay shows his carni identification card and is exempt from paying tax from toll on the national highway”.
In the clip a man sitting in the rear seat of the car initially shows his official carni hay ID on the camera and then hand over the man behind the wheel. The man shows this to the official of the Toll Tax, who allows the car to leave without paying. However, some of the comments section have raised doubts about whether the video was intentionally made just to gain fame, because the driver could also use a fastag – a prepaid brand that allows you to pay electronically when driving. The overlap of the text in Hindi is: “Naam Hi Kaafi Hai.” (The name is enough) – the phrase often indicates pride, strength or recognition.
The user has written“Not at all, they are a devoted workforce for Karni hay, a highly recognized social organization !! They must be exempt from taxes, due to the VIP passages in every public place – Toll is only a minimalist thing.
They work for the well -being of society. They are the law, not otherwise. So chill, the toll guy just did the same thing as we see the milk cooking and just coming out of the pelvis !! Prevention is better than confrontation. ”
Another wrote: “I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it – using Karni’s ID to skip the toll tax? I read that the rules of the national highway, 2008, exempt specific categories such as ambulances and defensive forces, so it feels like obvious abuse of power.
The third user said: “It looks like a nice reel. Otherwise, that would notice this scene and publish it … what joke.”
Another said: “He had to use Fastag.”
The fifth user wrote: “VIP treatment?”
What is Karni hay?
The term karni hay is now commonly used to indicate various rajput groups with similar names, active across several North Indian states – especially those who have witnessed protests during the publication of Padmaavat. Among them is Shri Rajput Karni hay (SRKS) considered the oldest, which was created in 2006.
However, there is a dispute about its origin. Both Loket Singh Kalvi, a limited election politician, and Ajit Singh Mamdoli, a professional builder, claims to have founded SRK. Mamdoli claims to establish a group and later invited Kalvi to join. Kalvi, on the other hand, claims to have been a co -founder from the beginning. He refers to himself as the founder of the SRKS, while Mamdoli insists that Kalvi only held the role of the main patron.
