Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar appreciated the extraordinary courage of Sujatha, a resident of Siddharthanagar in Mysuru, who risked her life to save her elderly mother-in-law from a leopard that had taken shelter under the bed in their house.
Describing the incident as a powerful testament to bravery and family bonds, Ms Hebbalkar said that although the incident happened suddenly, it reflected “extraordinary courage and the sacred relationship between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law”.
