The guardian in the central prison of Mysur was arrested for the alleged record of the “offensive” video against the main Minister Siddarahaiaha and his sharing on the social media.
Another police superintendent C. Malik said that the accused Warder, Madhu Kumar, was arrested by the Bettadapura Police in Periyapatna in the Mysur district. On Wednesday it will be interrogated and handed over to the jurisdiction police.
Formerly the main superintendent of Mysuro Central Jail PS RAMESH said Warder was suspended for his alleged misconduct. “He was suspended on Monday and waited for the department’s investigation,” he said. The guardian, former army staff who is around 45 years old, joined service in 2018. After the completion of two years of training he worked for about four years.
Meanwhile, the video caused outrage among Congress workers who gathered outside of Mysur on Tuesday and organized a protest.
The spokesman of the Karnataka Pradesh (KPCC) Congress Committee, who led the protest, said the Congress staff gathered to express their “injuries and anxiety” over the “obscene language” he used against the main minister.
Although the prison authorities suspended Warder to “misconduct”, Mr. Lakshman said it wasn’t enough. Against him, companies should be registered and should be arrested immediately, the spokesman said.
In a letter addressed by the representative of the police commissioner (Law and Order), Mysur City, Mr. Lakshman said that Warder bequeathed Mr. Siddaraiaha’s warnings to a police officer in Belagavi recently against the abuse of the Chief Minister in Singular.
He claimed that the guard had spoken of the main minister’s wife and at the same time offended the Muslim community on the platforms of social media to cause municipal disorders. The utterances of the “non -parliamental” guards in a five -minute video not only violated the rules of the Karnataka 2021 State Service, but also disrupted peace in society, and urged the police to register and arrest it.
Mr. Lakshman spoke to reporters outside Mysurus and said that social media accounts of the accused were full of Pro-BJP and Pro-RSS. His contributions to social media seek to target the leaders of Congress, Muslims and Dalites, claimed.
KPCC spokesman suspected that BJP was behind such persons. “The language used against the main minister was tremendously injured by Congress’s staff. Do not try our patience,” Mr. Lakshman warned.
Congress staff also planned a massive protest outside the Municipal Police Office on Wednesday at 3 pm to condemn the incident.
