The 7th edition of Mysuru Literary Fest-2026 will be held on 22nd February. Organized by the Mysore Literary Association, the event will be held from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Maharaja’s College Centenary Hall here.

The founder-president of the association KC Belliappa, with the support of former students, teachers and lovers of English literature, organizes the festival.

Eminent educationist Gururaj Karajagi will open the ceremony. B. Hariharan, Senior Professor of English, University of Kerala, will deliver a lecture on ‘The Life of Don Quixote in New Translations’.

Author and illustrator Preeti Shenoy will be in conversation with Geetha Kariappa. Film critic and writer MK Raghavendra will speak on ‘Narrative in Indian Popular Film and The Mimetic Urge’. Chandan Gowda, Dean, School of Liberal Arts, Vidyashilp University, will present a talk titled ‘Romancing Development: The Mysore Episode’.

The festival is open to all lovers of English literature. Participation is free and no prior registration is required, the press release said.
