After a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 innocent lives, the district Mysuru administration took steps to increase readiness for civil defense. Within these measures, the government introduced 12 specialized services concerning officials from all departments to ensure an effective response to emergencies in the light of increasing tension between India and Pakistan.
The initiative was announced by other representatives of the Commissioner P. Shivaraj, who chaired a high -level meeting on Wednesday to discuss the strategies of preparedness for emergency readiness and civil defense. The meeting was attended by the heads of various departments, strengthening the coordinated and more agency approach.
“The Cape, which is the main tourist destination, must remain on the emergency room. If the crisis occurs, all parties involved must act unison,” said Mr. Shivaraj. He called for trouble -free coordination between state and trade union officials, especially for critical tasks, such as evacuation of people to safer places, firefighting and providing sensitive areas.
Mr. Shivaraj urged officers to be ready to work on lessons during emergencies, adding that the district control room operated 24/7 and the directive will be immediately issued by the relevant department. Compliance with these directives will be mandatory.

The teams were entrusted with ensuring fast, organized and effective reactions in the event of any emergency situation that helps build public confidence and readiness.
