Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal passed away

Mysuru district Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Maddikere Gopal died on September 3.

Mr. Gopal, 77, breathed his last at Jayadeva Hospital in Mysuru. He is survived by his wife Anasuya Gopal and daughter Mala.

Mysuru District Congress Committee President BJ Vijaykumar condoled Mr. Gopal’s death and said that Mr. Gopal was a prominent figure in the Old Mysuru region who was deeply rooted in the public consciousness due to his position in the literary field for the past 40 years.
