After Penkridge were bowled out for 168, Pelsall looked settled at 49-2 before Davis unleashed a spell that stunned players and spectators alike.Davis, who had already taken one wicket earlier in the innings, opened the ninth over Wide before dramatically changing the course of the match.

Davis then continued his destruction by bowling the next three overs and rattling the stumps repeatedly to keep Pelsall on 49-9.“It’s still a bit surreal but it’s an amazing achievement,” Davis told BBC Midlands Today.“I didn’t know what to think to be honest. When the fourth (goal) happened I was stunned and it just kept going. According to Penkridge chairman John Price, the feat has only happened seven times worldwide, making Davis the first adult man in the UK to do so.“So it’s a huge achievement and we’re very proud,” Price said.The electrician almost missed the whole game, but was able to play after a colleague covered his shift.“Shout out to my co-worker who covered for me so I could actually play,” Davis added. “I don’t think it should exceed that.
