Official Rules
Please read these Official Rules carefully. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to these Official Rules.
1. Eligibility
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited. The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers, directors (and their immediate families, e.g., spouse, children, parents, siblings) and those living in the same household (whether or not related) of MyFitnessPal, Inc. (“Sponsor”) are not eligible to enter. Eligible participants are referred to as “Participant(s)” or “you.” By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.
2. Promotional Period
The Sweepstakes begins on May 21, 2025, at 9:00 AM Central Time (CT) and ends on May 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT (the “Entry Period”). Entries must be received and recorded by the Sponsor during the Entry Period. Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
3. How to Enter
You may enter by:
- Logging into your Instagram account, following @myfitnesspal, liking the post published by @MyFitnessPal (the “Post”), and tagging two (2) friends in the comments of the Post (“Following, Liking, and Tagging”).
- If you are not already a member, create a free Instagram account and agree to Instagram’s terms of service and privacy policy.
Alternatively, you may enter by emailing marketing@myfitnesspal.com with your full name and email address.
Limit one (1) entry per person. You may enter either by Following, Liking, and Tagging or by email, but not both. Sponsor reserves the right to verify all entries and disqualify any entrant who violates these Official Rules.
All eligible entries received during the Entry Period will be combined into one pool of “Qualified Entries.” The winner will be selected from these Qualified Entries.
4. Drawing
Within thirty (30) days after the Entry Period ends, the Sponsor or its designee will randomly select one (1) winner (the “Winner”) from the Qualified Entries. If a Winner is disqualified or fails to claim the prize, an alternate winner (the “Alternate Winner”) may be selected at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
The Winner (or Alternate Winner) will be notified via email or direct message. The prize will be sent within ninety (90) days of the drawing, provided the Winner responds with a valid mailing address within 48 hours of notification. Failure to respond will result in disqualification, and the prize may be awarded to an Alternate Winner.
5. Prize, Odds of Winning, Approximate Retail Value (ARV)
The Winner will receive:
- A one (1) year subscription to MyFitnessPal’s Premium+ offering (ARV $99.99).
- A $500 Walmart gift card (ARV $500.00).
- An MFP-branded swag bag (ARV $90.00).
Total ARV: $689.99.
Gift cards are subject to their respective terms and conditions. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions are allowed except at Sponsor’s sole discretion for a prize of equal or greater value. Odds of winning depend on the total number of Qualified Entries received.
6. Disqualification
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Winner or Alternate Winner for:
- Providing inaccurate personal or contact information.
- Failure to respond to notifications within 48 hours.
- Violating these Official Rules or engaging in disruptive or inappropriate behavior.
Disqualified Winners will forfeit their prize, and an Alternate Winner may be selected.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Released Parties (defined below) are not responsible for:
- Incorrect or inaccurate information.
- Technical difficulties, malfunctions, or interruptions.
- Bugs, viruses, or malicious attacks.
- Typographical, printing, or human errors.
- Lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or stolen entries.
Prizes are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Some jurisdictions may not allow limitations of liability, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
8. Release
By entering, Participants agree to accept and abide by these Official Rules. All decisions by the Sponsor are final. Participants release Sponsor, its officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents (“Released Parties”) from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or use/misuse of the prize.
In the event of a Force Majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or governmental actions), Sponsor may abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the Sweepstakes without further obligation.
9. Disputes and Arbitration
Except where prohibited, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration will take place in New York County, New York. Participants waive the right to a jury trial and agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis, not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Claims must be filed within one (1) year of arising. If arbitration is not enforceable, disputes will be governed by the laws of New York, and any legal action must be filed in New York County.
10. Winner’s List
For a list of winners, email marketing@myfitnesspal.com within 60 days after the Entry Period ends. Limit one request per email address.
11. Privacy Policy
By entering, Participants agree to Sponsor’s use of their personal information as outlined in the Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at MyFitnessPal Privacy Policy.
12. MyFitnessPal’s Terms and Conditions
The MyFitnessPal Terms and Conditions of Use, available at MyFitnessPal Terms, are incorporated into these Official Rules.
