Two coaches Muzaffarpur-Sabarmati Jansadharan Express on Friday afternoon in Uttar Pradesh in Uttar Pradesh derailed between Kanpur and Tundla, officials of the Ministry of Railways said.
“No injuries have been reported yet. Two coaches, including one coach of the wheelchair, have derailed in the loop line,” the clerk said.
He said that the fifth and sixth coaches from the engine derailed in the backyard of Bhaupur at 16:20.
Restoration work was immediately started and railway officials from Kanpur reached the place.
North Central Railway Zone CEO and divisional railway manager also approached the place, the official said.
