Mustafizur Rahman’s rapid pitch went to the United Arab Emirates (SAE) to participate in the Bangladesh’s upcoming T20i series in Sharjah. The tigers are scheduled to lock corners with SAE in two T20is 17 and 19. May at the cricket stadium Sharjah.
The official Instagram Bangladeshi cricket recorded a picture of Mustafizur, along with his other national teammates, including Tymy Sarkar, Shoriful Islam, Towhid Hidoy, Hossain Shanto and the new Litton Das.
Development comes at a time when Mustafizur’s participation in the Premier League (IPL) 2025 is under the clouds. On Wednesday 14 May Delhi Capitals (DC) Signed Mustafizur for the rest of IPL.
Mustafizur joined DC at RS 6 crore after Jake Fraser McGurk pulled out of the tournament for personal reasons. Pacer of the left shoulder returned to the main cities after the last time they represented them in the editions of 2022 and 2023 League T20.
Bangladeshy cricket council (BCB) said in the meantime that it is Not believe the latest agreement of Mustafizur with the main cities.
“Mustafizur should go to the UAE team as planned. We have not received any communication from the IPL officials. Even such official communication from Mustafizur has not received any such official communication,” said BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury Espncricinfo.
If Mustafizur plays both UAE matches, he will miss at least one of the three remaining league matches for the capital cities – against Gujarat Titans on Sunday 18th May at the ARUN Jaitley stadium in Nový Delhi.
The capitals started a campaign with four victories on trot, but to some extent they were lost. They are located fifth in the table with 13 points and a net running rate +0.362 thanks to victory in six out of 11 matches.
